Getting there

The Piccadilly Theatre is at 16 Denman Street, London W1D 7DY, just north of Piccadilly Circus. Take the Piccadilly or Bakerloo line to Piccadilly Circus and use exit 1 onto Sherwood Street. Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre and The Book of Mormon are just around the corner.

Doors and the evening

The auditorium opens at 13:45 for matinees and 18:45 for evening performances, and the bars open 90 minutes before the show. Arrive about 30 minutes early: there are bag checks at the entrance, and late arrivals may have to wait before they are let in. Leave suitcases, rucksacks and large bags at home; coats and small bags go under your seat. The show contains flashing lights, strobe lights, fog, loud bangs and firearms on stage.

With children

The producers recommend Moulin Rouge! from age 12. Younger children can be admitted at the discretion of a parent or guardian, but under-5s are not allowed in the theatre. The story revolves around love, money and a Paris nightclub.
